OUR STORY

LOCAL INGREDIENTS, LOCAL BEER

Naples Brewing Company is a nano-farm brewery in Naples, NY. All brewing is done on site by owners Trevor and Dan in the basement of our Main Street building. We are noted as the smallest brewery in Ontario County, though our space likely takes the cake for smallest brewery in most regions. Every square inch is maximized, from our brewing space and cold room to our patio and taproom! Converting the building from its previous use (a print shop) into a production facility and taproom was a labor of love undertaken by our owners along with friends and family.

We source nearly all of our ingredients from within New York, including malts from Murmuration Malts in Bloomfield, hops from Cobblestone Hops in Ontario, and fruit and other ingredients from various suppliers across the state. Whenever possible, we partner with local businesses to truly deliver a Naples-centered product. The vast majority of our merchandise is locally crafted/printed as well. When you buy our beer or shop our merch, you can feel good knowing that you’re supporting multiple local businesses! Check our social media for newest beer releases, partnerships, and events.

A COMMUNITY-CENTERED APPROACH

We believe a business should be about more than just selling a product. While we love making beer and getting it in people’s hands, we thrive through partnerships and opportunities to be involved. A few of the organizations/events we collaborate with include the Naples Trail Collective, Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association, Finger Lakes Land Trust, Naples Library, Great Hill Ultra, and many more! We enjoy partnering for limited release brews, hosting meetings and events, and supporting the mission and work of the many community groups that keep us all in forward motion.

OUR ORIGINS

Dan and Trevor were placed on the same floor of their freshman dorm at RIT. A few games of Kan Jam (and a night of getting written up for watching Syracuse play “too loudly”) later, they’d become great friends and stayed housemates for the rest of the college experience. Post-grad life took them to opposite sides of the country, but annual visits were filled with dreams of someday starting a brewery together.

Five years and countless garage brews later, opportunity struck, and with the support of partners Jillian and Larkin, Naples Brewing Company was born.
As a nano-farm brewery, Naples Brewing Company strives to craft delicious beers while keeping the community and environment at the center of all decisions.
